State Police at Frackville
State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:
• Christine Dowell, 54, and Jessica Tonkin, 42, both of Coaldale, were cited for harassment after police responded to a neighborhood disturbance on West Ridge Street in Coaldale at 5:03 p.m. Jan. 6.
Police said it was determined one neighbor’s dog went into the other neighbor’s yard and one of the neighbors maced the dog. They said in the process of macing the dog, some of the mace got onto the other neighbor.
• Police are investigating a scattering rubbish case they were called to at 2:37 p.m. Jan. 6 at the intersection of Vulcan Hill and Buck Mountain roads in Mahanoy Township.
They said the incident occurred in a heavily-wooded area by an unknown person in a black-colored vehicle.
• Police were called to the Walmart store at 35 Plaza Drive, Hometown, Rush Township, at 4:16 p.m. Dec. 24, for a retail theft (shoplifting) incident.
They said a man walked out of the store with $500 worth of car devices without paying for the items and left the scene in a 2011 Mitsubishi.
• Ender Centeno-Rodriguez, 41, of Mahanoy City, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
Police said he was stopped in a 2015 Honda Accord at 2:14 a.m. Jan. 5 on East Railroad Street in Mahanoy City.
• Brian Todak, 44, of New Ringgold, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic dispute at 9:21 p.m. Jan. 4 on Hughes Street in New Ringgold.
Police said the victim is a 35-year-old woman from Pottsville who told them she and Todak engaged in a verbal argument over a board game, after which time Todak pushed her.
• Tad Barlet, 39, of New Ringgold, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance.
Police said he was apprehended at 10:20 a.m. Oct. 20 on Summer Valley Road in East Brunswick Township for failure to appear for a bench warrant that had been issued against him.
He was found to be in possession of methamphetamines, police said.
• A 48-year-old Coaldale man is the victim of a criminal mischief incident police were called to at 5:13 p.m. Dec. 7 on First Street in Coaldale.
Police said he told them a suspect arrived at his residence and smashed a window on the front door before fleeing the scene.
Police said several hours later, the suspect again caused a disturbance and smashed a window on the victim’s home before fleeing a second time.
