Prior to the regular December Polk Township Board of Supervisors meeting to approve the 2025 budget was held.

There will be no tax increase, but the new fire tax will be put in place.

A brief meeting followed.

The fire company reported 22 emergencies for November. They had 145 hours of training and 225 hours of fundraising.

The Hamlet Estates Pocono planning module was approved to send to DEP.

A discussion of Act 94 regarding supervisors compensation occurred. The threshold for pay for supervisors will be higher.

The Polk Township reorganization meeting will be held on Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
