Local students bowl in CYO Tournament

Students from grades Kindergarten through Grade 8 participated in the 2024 Catholic Youth Organization District 5 Bowling Tournament. Youth from Ss Peter & Paul Parish, Lehighton; St John Neumann School, Palmerton; and St. Jerome’s School Tamaqua took part at the tournament, held at Fritz Lanes, 2 South Street, Lehighton on Nov. 23.

The Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis, pastor of Ss Peter & Paul Church, Lehighton, offered the opening prayer and bowled the first frame to start the tournament

Here are the top winners in each division:

Girls:

Division A (Kindergarten through Grade 2):

1st: Isabell Taylor, St. John Neumann

2nd: Remy Jones, St. John Neumann

3rd: Mauti Lechlertnerl, St. Jerome

4th: Mackenzie Howay, St. Jerome

Division C (Grades 5 and 6)

1st: Piper Hayes, St. Jerome
