State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Two people were cited for harassment by physical contact after a verbal argument turned physical at 10:50 a.m. Nov. 30 on South Main Street, Schuylkill Township.

Cited were a 28-year-old woman from Mary D and a 26-year-old man from Barnesville, police said.

• Anthony Pascoe, 38, of Tamaqua, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 11:50 a.m. Nov. 29 on Claremont Avenue in Rush Township (Hometown).

He was stopped in a 2013 Chrysler for numerous Motor Vehicle Code violations after which time police found him in possession of an illegal substance.

• A burglary that was reported at 7:01 p.m. Nov. 29 on East Brunswick Township is under investigation.

A 66-year-old Pottsville man reported someone entered his residence on West Rausch Road and stole oxygen acetylene torch tanks worth $200 and a Ballard .22-caliber rifle valued at $100.

• Police said a runaway juvenile who left the Shenandoah Valley Junior High School with another student was located and returned to her residence.

She was reported missing at 5:42 p.m. Nov. 27. Police said a friend of the juvenile contacted police to inform them she was with the runaway, who was located and returned to her home.

• Police are investigating a theft that they were called to at 2:47 p.m. Nov. 25 at Valley Road, Walker Township.

They said that on Oct. 25 someone took mail, which contained a check, from a mailbox. Shortly thereafter, the victim received notification that someone was trying to cash a fraudulent check in Pottsville.

• A 21-year-old New Ringgold man reported the theft of a utility trailer.

Police were called at 3:51 p.m. Nov. 16 to a property on Schuylkill Road, East Brunswick Township.

A black 1995 Premier utility trailer bearing the Pennsylvania registration plate of XNV5366 was stolen from the man’s property between Nov. 13 and 16.

Police said the trailer has a wooden deck, a bent fender on the left side and is approximately 16 to 18 feet in length.
