State police at Stroudsburg

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police were called to a forcible rape report at 2:37 a.m. Nov. 12.

They said personnel from the St. Luke’s Hospital reported they were treating a 29-year-old woman from Montclair, New Jersey, for sexual assault.

Police said the assault occurred on Mountain Road, Smithfield Township and that a suspect has been identified.

• A 38-year-old woman from Stroudsburg was charged with simple assault and harassment after police were called to a domestic incident at 1:09 p.m. Nov. 6 at the intersection of Bossardsville and Smith roads, Hamilton Township.

A 55-year-old man from Stroudsburg said the woman assaulted him during the altercation.

• A 51-year-old Stroudsburg man was charged with harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic incident at 1:41 p.m. Nov. 17.

The incident occurred on Kirk Lane, Hamilton Township, and involved a 47-year-old woman from Stroudsburg.

• Police are investigating a terroristic threats incident directed toward a 65-year-old Bethlehem man on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.

It was reported at 2:42 p.m. Sept. 8 and police said a 2015 Honda was involved.
