Senior Center
The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Dec. 2-6.
Monday: Chicken Scampi, Vegetable Blend, Pasta, Fruited Jello or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich.
Tuesday: Sloppy Joe, Potato Wedges, Salad, Orange or Beef and Cheese Sandwich.
Wednesday: Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, Stir Fry Vegetables, Tropical Fruit or Greek Salad.
Thursday: Stuffed Pepper, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Yogurt or Tuna Salad.
Friday: Cheese Omelet, Sausage Patty, Potatoes, Fruit Salad or Chicken and Cheese Sandwich.
The senior center also announced the following events:
Decorate the tree on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m.; Advantage Home Health Bingo on Dec. 3 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Dec. 4 at 11 a.m.; Center Closed on Dec. 5, Skeeball on Dec. 6 at 11 a.m.
Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Panther Valley Library
The Panther Valley Public Library will hold fall story hour for children ages 3-5 on Dec. 4 and 18 beginning at 10 a.m.
There will be a story, craft and light snack.
To register a child, call the library at 570-645-3780. The event is free.
Medicare help
Appointments are now available at the Panther Valley Public Library and Summit Hill Heritage Center for seniors looking to save money on Medicare and prescription plans.
Appointments through Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will help individuals make the best decision on prescription plans for them.
Appointments are from 9 a.m. to noon at:
• The Summit Hill Heritage Center: Dec. 4.
• Panther Valley Library: Dec. 6.
