CCTI students visit L.B. Morris

On Oct. 22, Drafting, Electrical Distribution Automation, Auto Service Technician and Engineering Technology instructors and students visited 5th grade students in Jim Thorpe at L.B. Morris Elementary School.

The presentation featured interactive presentations, allowing students to experience some of the skills and activities involved with technical programs.

Drafting students who participated and made presentations included: 11th graders Calli Mae Peiffer from Lehighton, Edison Mitchell from Panther Valley, Steven Lilly from Lehighton, Adam Gardiner from Panther Valley, 12th grader Varick Pfeiffer from Lehighton, and 10th grader Parker Cressman from Palmerton.

From the auto service program, students who participated included 11th graders Nick Hadz from Jim Thorpe and Lucas Miller from Palmerton.

Students from the electrical distribution and automation program included 12th graders Adrianna Blahnik from Palmerton and Kieler Kemmerer from Lehighton.

From the Engineering Technology program students were 12th grader Louis Sypeck from Weatherly, 11th grader Landen Thomas from Palmerton, and 10th grader Ryker Kunkle-Oraczewski from Palmerton.

All students shared their knowledge and demonstrated professionalism during their presentations.
