• Slatington Public Library, 650 Main St., Slatington, will be having a book sale from Saturday through Dec. 4 during regular library hours. Hardbound books are $1 and paperback books 50 cents. Buy five books and receive a free cloth bag.

• Lehigh Township Police Department, will hold an American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Lehigh Township Municipal Office, 1069 Municipal Road, Walnutport, on Friday starting at 10:30 a.m. Schedule an appointment, by going to RedCrossBlood.org and enter Lehigh Township.

• Slatington Volunteer Fire Department will host line dancing at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Vigilant Fire Company, 110 South Walnut St., Slatington. There is an entry fee.
