Removal of hazardous trees continues in the day use areas of Tuscarora State Park in Barnesville.
Work is being done between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays as weather permits, and may take several weeks.
Areas closed while work is underway may include parking lots, and areas around pavilions, beach, cabins and yurts, and the boat launch.
Gates will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians for safety reasons. Visitors are advised to stay away from work areas. Anyone intentionally trespassing into active work areas may be cited.
Those looking for hiking or walking access should use the Crow Trail parking lot, the park office parking lot, or roadside pull-offs along Tuscarora Mountain Drive.
