Police in charge of the investigation of a fatal pedestrian crash on Monday in Tunkhannock Township have identified the deceased as Clifton Little, 63, of Blakeslee.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident that happened shortly after 5 p.m. Monday. They said an autopsy has been ordered by the Monroe County Coroner’s Office.

Police said the crash happened at the intersection of Route 115 and Allegheny Drive. They said Little attempted to cross the highway and was struck in the northbound lane by a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old male driver from Blakeslee.

Police said the incident remains under investigation by the PMRP Accident Reconstruction team. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the police department at 570-895-2400.
