Polk auxiliary donates $25,000 to fire dept.

The Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary made a $25,000 donation to the fire company, bringing the total donated in 2024 to $35,000.

The Ladies Auxiliary raises these funds through catering at banquets and hall rentals, monthly breakfasts, monthly hoagie sales, lottery calendar fundraisers and selling meals on Election Day. These funds help the fire company with operating expenses and equipment purchases.

Both the ladies auxiliary and fire company are actively seeking new volunteers. If anyone is interested they can call at 610-681-4370, reach out on Facebook or stop in to the Kresgeville station any Monday night.

Breakfast is served the third Sunday of every month with the exception of July and August.
