State police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:

• Yuderka Vargas Compres, 44, of Danielsville, was cited after a crash at 5:07 p.m. Sept. 3 on the north ramp of Route 378 in Bethlehem.

Police said she was driving a 2011 Ford Fusion that struck the rear of a 2016 Peterbilt operated by Charles L. Ludewig Jr., 31, of West Milton.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police said the Fusion had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

• Michael S. Zollo, 43, of Kunkletown, was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:24 p.m. Oct. 7 on Route 22 in South Whitehall Township.

Police said he was driving a 2025 Cascadia Freightliner that was struck by a 2023 Kia driven by Gaynelle N. Carrington, 50, of Easton. She was cited after the crash.

Police said Carrington had possible injuries and told them she would go to a hospital herself.

Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 7 at the intersection of routes 309 and 100 in Heidelberg Township.

Police said the crash occurred when a 2006 Lexus operated by Olena Semotiuk, 29, of Breinigsville, turned in front of a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Sharon M. Nicholas, 73, of Schnecksville, striking it.

Police said Semotiuk was cited after the crash.

• Briann M. Wanchanic, 37, of Lehighton, was cited for “overtaking a vehicle on the left” after a crash at 4:39 p.m. Oct. 8 on Route 248 in Bath. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said she was driving a 2019 Hyundai Tucson west and was proceeding past a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway when the Tucson struck a 2024 Volkswagen Jetta that was driven by a 17-year-old boy from Allentown.

Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.

No one was hurt in the incident.

• Aundrea H. Bare, 23, of Walnutport, was cited after a three-vehicle crash at 3:09 p.m. Oct. 6 on Route 309 in North Whitehall Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said she was driving a 2013 Subaru Legacy that struck the rear of a 2021 Ford Bronco driven by a 17-year-old boy from Schnecksville, which then struck a 2018 Toyota RAV4 driven by Charles W. Smith Jr., 58, of Bowmanstown.

• Kevin S. Lacrosse, 63, of Stowe, was injured in a motorcycle crash at 3:39 p.m. Oct. 6 on Route 873 in Washington Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Northern Valley Ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. They said the severity of his injuries was unknown.

Police said he was driving a 2019 Harley-Davidson Street Glyder southbound when a deer entered his path and he was unable to avoid striking it. They said Lacrosse was found in the southbound lane as the motorcycle came to rest on its side.

• Kyle R. Worman, 29, of Walnutport, was injured in a motorcycle crash at 7:01 p.m. Oct. 5 in Hanover Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Northampton Regional Ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

They said he was operating a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja on private property when he lost control of it as it traveled over a speed bump, causing him to fall off it, sustaining leg and wrist injuries.

Police said the motorcycle had moderate damage.

• Amanda M. Acabou, 29, of Lehighton, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:32 a.m. Oct. 13 on Route 248 in East Allen Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Northampton Regional Ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. They said the severity of her injuries was unknown.

Police said the crash occurred when Rajadin L. Wilson, 22, of Irvington, New Jersey, driving a 2010 Hyundai Genesis, failed to yield to oncoming traffic and entered the intersection with Route 987, where the car was struck by a 2010 Volkswagen Golf operated by Acabou.

Police said Wilson, who was uninjured, was determined to be driving while intoxicated/impaired and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

Police said both vehicles had major disabling damage.
