State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft by deception incident in which someone stole a credit card from a Saylorsburg woman and used it to make purchases totaling $932.27.

The victim is a 66-year-old woman who reported someone used her stolen credit card to make the unauthorized purchases between 7 a.m. March 1 and 7 a.m. May 13. The incident took place on Interchange Road in Towamensing Township.
