Learn about winter birds when the Pocono Garden Club meets at 1 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Monroe County Conservation District, 8050 Running Valley Road, Bartonsville.
The program on identifying and feeding winter birds we see in our yards and gardens will be presented by the Monroe County Conservation District.
Following, club committee members will introduce themselves and their committee’s purpose to the growing membership in hopes more will join in club activities and projects.
The meeting’s design entry is called “Be Thankful.” it would be an inverted T design using fall colors.
The horticulture entry should be a bouquet of dried materials in a container of choice.
The houseplant entry should be any unusual plant you may have — pick an interesting, healthy plant and enter it. Light refreshments will be served.
