A wildfire has broken out on the Blue Mountain. Traffic is being detoured off Route 248.

On Blue Mountain Drive by the Summit Lodge, the road is narrowed because crews are unloading ATVs to go onto the trail to fight the fire.

The fire is at the intersection of routes 248 and 873 in Lehigh County. Firefighters are being hampered by the rocky terrain.
