A Nesquehoning man was injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle he was operating at 3:10 p.m. Saturday on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said Thomas J. Gallagher, 30, was airlifted to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.
Police said he was operating a 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide southbound and was behind a 2018 Dodge Ram truck driven by Preston L. Wynings, 31, of Jim Thorpe.
They said Wynings was stopped when Gallagher’s motorcycle crashed into the truck. They said Gallagher was thrown from the cycle and landed on the roadway. Police said he was wearing a “skull cap” style helmet and protective eyewear.
Wynings was uninjured.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Penn Forest Fire Company, Lehighton Ambulance and a local towing service.
