Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

The Christmas Cantata will take place at 6 p.m. on Dec. 14 and at the 11 a.m. service on Dec. 15.

Fall Basket Social

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its Annual Fall Basket Social and Bake Sale on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be a theme basket raffle, baked goods, homemade soups, filling, chow-chow and apple butter available.

A cash bingo will be held on Oct. 13 in the Sacred Heart Church Social Hall, 243 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton.
