Carbon County officials take down the gate closing off the pedestrian bridge in Jim Thorpe from the rest of the D&L Trail as the project rehabilitating a portion of the trail between Weissport and Jim Thorpe is completed. The trail officially reopened to the public at 3 p.m. Friday after being closed for more than seven months.
