That’s why he sits down with his patients and discusses the entire process with them.
He’s also a listener, paying attention to his patients’ concerns and questions.
Dr. Rodriguez believes healing starts within and all aspects of a person need to be taken into consideration. He believes in treating the whole person.
Services offered: Dr. Rodriguez’s services include breast cancer surgery and benign breast conditions. He also offers biopsies, excision of lesions, tumors and skin cancer, and general surgery.
Conditions treated: Breast diseases including additional cancer and general surgery services.
Why he entered medicine: Dr. Rodriguez’s parents played a part in the physician he is today. As the son of a pediatrician, he witnessed his father’s dedication to his patients and the impact he had on them. “His care and character shaped me into who I am today,” Dr. Rodriguez says.
He also drew inspiration from his mother, a college professor. He said she is one of the most passionate people he knows, and he finds her energy invigorating.
Those qualities impacted him but so did the challenge of entering the calling of medicine.
“I was always competitive growing up, playing multiple sports and being the youngest of four brothers. Striving to do my best, I used the challenges of the journey to sharpen my skills and overcome obstacles,” Dr. Rodriguez says.
About Dr. Rodriguez: Dr. Rodriguez has many interests. Among them, he maintains an active lifestyle by running and weightlifting. He enjoys visiting national parks for their beauty and challenging hikes. He also loves cooking and experimenting with cultural cuisines.
