The Panther Valley High School Class of 1974 marked a significant milestone with their 50th class reunion, a weekend filled with joy, nostalgia and heartfelt memories. The celebration kicked off on Aug. 9, with a Happy Hour at the Batter’s Box in Summit Hill. The main event took place on Saturday at DiMaggio’s in Tamaqua, where 71 classmates/spouses gathered. Attendees traveled from across the country, including Florida, Arizona, Idaho, North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia. The reunion event was livestreamed for classmates who could not attend in person. Classmates from Idaho, Nevada, North Carolina and Washington attended online. A tribute to classmates who died was held.
