State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 35-year-old man from Northampton is acing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controller substance after an incident at 9:43 p.m. Aug. 2.

He was stopped while operating a 2004 Honda motorcycle on Old Post Road in Washington Township.

• A 34-year-old woman from Slatington was cited for criminal mischief after police responded to an incident at 10:15 a.m. Aug. 17 on Welshtown Road, Washington Township.

The victims of the incident are a 71-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Slatington.

• A 73-year-old Slatington woman is the victim of a theft police were called to investigate at 5:58 p.m. Aug. 23 at a property on Kirk Street, North Whitehall Township.

She told police she received notice from personnel at Cabela’s Sporting Goods that an unknown actor attempted to use her credit card online to purchase merchandise from the store.

The attempted purchase was for approximately $1,800 but was rejected by the card-issurer, police said.
