State police at the Lehighton barracks reported that a 64-year-old man from Lehighton is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance following a one-car crash at 10:55 p.m. Aug. 23.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Dinkey and Summer Mountain roads in East Penn Township.

Police said the suspect was driving a 2023 Mazda CX3.
