State police at the Pocono barracks reported a crash on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Police said a driver and three passengers escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash at 10:35 a.m. Aug. 14 at mile marker 72.8 in East Penn Township.

Police said Timothy I. Kepp, 31, of Coopersburg, was driving a 2020 Ford Explorer northbound when it struck and drove over a large metal object in the road.
