Joseph Zonca was elected commander of the Lansford AMVETS Post during a meeting held in the post home. He will succeed Isadore Hackash, outgoing commander.

Other officers elected are Ernest Rossi, first vice commander and assistant state executive committeeman; Richard Giantesano, second vice commander; Stanley Mikulsky, finance officer and state executive committeeman; James Nothstein, provost marshal; Joseph Hebda, historian; Al Sverchek, chaplain; Martin Nardini, assistant chaplain; State Sen. William Z. Scott, judge advocate; Francis Mongi, insurance and service officer; and Charles Horowski, public relations officer.

Michael Lukac, Charles Galgoci and Rudy Manak were appointed to auditor positions.
