Richard “Rich” John Schaedler, 72, of Hellertown, died Aug. 1, 2024. He was born in Hellertown.

He was a Hellertown-Lower Saucon H.S. and Moravian College graduate. He honed his skills at the University of Dayton Law School.

He was an estate attorney. He worked at the law firm of Butterfield, Joachim, Schaedler & Kelleher, Bethlehem.

He was active in the Pennsylvania State and Northampton County Bar Associations.

He was a member of the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown.

He is survived by a brother, Donald A. Schaedler of Havre de Grace, Maryland; a niece, Courtney and her husband Robert Cullison

of Bel Air, Maryland, and their children, Megan, Brody and Maxwell; and a nephew, Matthew Schaedler and his wife Katherine of Wilmington, Delaware, and their children, Claire, Anna, and Matthew.
