State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crash:

Donovan N. Alford, 29, of Freeland, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 8 on the Mill Hill Road (Route 309) in Kline Township.

Police said he was driving a 2015 Hyundai northbound when he fell asleep. The vehicle drifted toward the east shoulder of the roadway, where it struck a guide rail.

Alford was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
