State police at the Belfast barracks reported the following accident:

Eric L. Gonzalez, 40, of Albrightsville, escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 7:26 a.m. July 27 on Route 33 in Bushkill Township.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Ford Econoline van northbound when a deer entered its path from the left side of the road. The van struck the deer, resulting in heavy damages that required it to be towed from the scene.
