A Slatington man is facing charges following an incident that occurred in Lehigh County.

Upper Macungie Township police said officers responded to 7607 Hamilton Blvd., in Trexlertown, about 6:54 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, to a report of an assault.On scene officers found Jared Billman, 20, of Allentown, who said he was punched in the face several times by Edwin Figueroa, 26, of Slatington. Billman showed visible signs of physical injury, police said.Figueroa was charged with simple assault and related offenses, police added.
