State police at Fern Ridge released information on the following cases:
• Dana Lezoche, 45, of Jim Thorpe, was charged with failing to confine her dogs on premises after her two dogs chased a person on Cocopah Circle in Penn Forest Township at 1:25 p.m. July 29.
• Yorman Guaido-Tua, of Aurora, Colorado was charged with driving under the influence and evading arrest following a July 7 incident on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.
State police said his vehicle became disabled in the interstate’s median near mile marker 282. Guaido-Tua fled the scene on foot and into the woods. He eventually returned to the area a few hours later and was apprehended. He was also charged with false identification and multiple secondary offenses, police said.
• State police charged a 33-year-old Kunkletown man with theft by deception for stealing crypto currency valued at $45,790 from a 48-year-old East Stroudsburg man and a 50-year-old Effort man. The theft was reported on April 9, police said.
• No injuries were reported when a vehicle driven by Jeremiah St. Thomas of Covington Township struck a deer while traveling on Interstate 80 in Tunkhannok Township around 5 p.m. July 26.
Police said St. Thomas was traveling east near mile marker 291 when the deer attempted to cross the road and was struck. The vehicle had to be towed.
