Fire companies from Carbon and Schuylkill counties responded to a report of a fire with entrapment Saturday afternoon in Lansford. The alarm came in around 1:45 p.m. that there was a fire with a person trapped in an apartment on the fifth floor. Fire companies were on scene for about an hour. No injuries were reported in the incident.
