A 33-year-old man from East Stroudsburg was involved in a road rage incident on Route 534 in Penn Forest Township at 11:30 a.m. June 27.

State police at Fern Ridge said the man pulled his car into a Dollar General parking lot and a physical altercation ensued with the suspect.

The suspect, who has not been identified, struck the man multiple times.

Police said the man pulled a handgun for his safety and the suspect fled on Route 534.
