The Fitter & Faster swim camp will be held at Mahanoy Area Jr./Sr. High School on Aug. 17 and 18.

Marian swim coach Andrea Feathers and Mahanoy Area swim coach Kiera Van Horn are teamming with Fitter & Faster — the World’s #1 Swim Camps — to host the event.

The camp is open to area swimmers 12 years of age and older. There will be two sessions each day. The first session will have an 8:45 a.m. check in and will go from 9-11:30 a.m. The second session will have a 12:15 p.m. check in and will go from 12:30-3 p.m.

The camp is taught by world class clinicians and will feature instruction in underwaters and breakouts; forward and relay starts; turns (open and flips); and essentials of sprinting.

Certified coaches are welcome on deck during the camp to observe, learn and participate.
