A woman from Auburn, Schuylkill County, died on Friday morning in the Hershey Medical Center of injuries she suffered in a two-vehicle crash at 1:16 p.m. July 17 on Route 183 in Wayne Township.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Zulakha Rodrigues, 74, of Auburn, was pronounced dead at 3:42 by Dauphin County Coroner Donald Machamer.

Police said she was flown there for suspected serious injuries.

The accident happened when Rodrigues was driving a 2014 Toyota Corolla northbound when it crossed over the double yellow line into the southbound lane and struck a 1996 Ford F260 truck driven by Carl R. Miller, 67, of Bernsville. He was transported by personnel from the Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven Area EMS corps to the Geisinger-St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.

Police said both vehicles sustained disabling damages and needed to be towed from the scene.
