State police at Frackville - crashes

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Peyton A. Velez, 24, of Girardville, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:51 a.m. July 16 on the Tuscarora Mountain Road in Ryan Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Ryan Township Emergency and Rescue Squad to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Danville.

Police said he was driving a 2024 Hyundai west when he lost control on a curve in the roadway and the car traveled off the right shoulder, crashing into a tree.

The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene, police said.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle mishap at 3:03 p.m. July 18 on State Route 1015 in Rush Township.

Policed said Camryn L. Natt, 18, of Freeland, was driving a 2013 Dodge Dart southbound when it exited the east side of the road and struck a ditch.

The car was towed from the scene.

Police said Natt was cited for the crash.

• Police said a vehicle that struck two road signs on Lincoln Drive in Hometown, Rush Township, left the scene of the incident at 7:19 a.m. July 20.

They said the vehicle first struck a pile of stones and then struck the signs that were placed at the beginning of a closed bridge. Police said there is no identifiable information concerning the vehicle.
