John Staivecki collects both hits for the winners, with his second coming in the bottom of the sixth inning with one out to bring home Joe Matalone — who had walked — with the deciding run. Gary Higgins allows just five hits and three runs to earn the pitching decision, while hard-luck loser Danny Weiksner strikes out 12 for Coaldale. Coaldale also receive a hit and two runs from Jody Price.
