102nd West End Fair set to start Aug. 18-24

The 102nd West End Fair will be held from Aug. 18 to 24.

Located in Gilbert at the West End Fairgrounds, this weeklong fair has an exciting lineup of activities, entertainment, live music, delicious food, and fun for attendees of all ages.

Event Highlights

• Fireworks — Kick off the fair with a spectacular firework display on Sunday night, Aug. 18

• Free Ride Day — Enjoy free rides on Monday, Aug. 19 from 2 to 6 p.m.

• Military Appreciation Day — Free admission on Tuesday, Aug. 20 for all military personnel with a valid ID

• Sensory Day — Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. designed for those with sensory sensitivities

• Senior Citizens Day — On Wednesday, Aug. 21, guests 65 years and older can enter the fair for just $4.

• Student Day — On Thursday, Aug. 22, students with a valid ID can enter the fair for just $4

• Half Off Admission — Take advantage of half price admission on Friday Aug. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The fairgrounds will be buzzing with activity, offering something for everyone:

• Fair Museum — Explore the rich history of the West End Fair

• Craft Tent — Discover unique handmade crafts and goods

• Live Music — Enjoy performances from bands including the Cramer Brothers Band, Long Live the Beatles, the Honky Tonk Twins, Burn the Jukebox, Steel Creek Band, and much more

• Agricultural Exhibits — Learn about local agriculture with a variety of exhibits

• Wood Carver — Watch live wood carving demonstrations

• Food and rides available.

• Arena events include quarter midget racing, demo derbies, Black Cat Hell Drivers, truck and tractor pulls and Bullride Mania rodeo.
