The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the following road work this week:

Lehigh County

• Upper Macungie, Lower Macungie and South Whitehall townships, Interstate 78 construction between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 54 (Route 222) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

• City of Allentown, Interstate 78 drainage between Exit 57 (Lehigh Street) and Northampton County line from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Hanover Township, Route 987/Airport Road construction between Route 22 and Union Boulevard from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

• Weisenberg Township, Interstate 78 between exit 45 (Route 863) and Exit 49 (Route 100) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

• Upper Saucon Township, Route 378 brush cutting between Route 309 and Northampton County line from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

• Upper Macungie Township, Route 22 West Ramp at PA Turnpike construction from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Monroe County

• Multiple municipalities, Route 930 pothole patching between Route 191 and County line from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Tunkhannock Township, Interstate 80 East between Exit 284 (Route 115 and Exit 293 (Interstate 380) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.

Northampton County

• Multiple municipalities, Interstate 78 construction between Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 67 (Route 412) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday.

• Upper Nazareth Township, Route 248 between Nazareth Pike and Monocacy Drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

• Lower Mount Bethel, Route 611/South Delaware Drive between Belvidere Martins Creek Hwy and Richmond Road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Schuylkill County

• Pine Grove Borough, Route 125 paving between Pottsville Street and Shultz from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
