The Nesquehoning Little League celebrated the assistance it received from students at the Carbon County Vocational-Technical School in the construction of a restroom complex at its field area in the borough by holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony there.
The project gave the vocational-technical students and their instructor an opportunity to get out into the field for some real work experience.
Pam Poeldnurk of the league chaired the committee that helped make the project a reality while the Nesquehoning Borough Council aided the project in providing a sewer line and having its borough work crew available to help when needed.
