Rose Marie Reis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Reis of East Center Street, Nesquehoning, a sophomore at Marian Catholic High School, was named Nesquehoning Bicentennial queen last night.
Selected from three finalists, she will be the official Bicentennial Committee representative during next year’s festivities.
The first runner-up was Sharon Jaso, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jaso of 248 W. High St., with Cheryl Ouly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore Ouly of 100 E. Catawissa St. being named the second runner-up.
Judges were Charlene Colon, the Rev. Richard Giuliani and Gloria Dillon.
