State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 50-year-old Allentown man had a catalytic converter stolen off his car parked on Commerce Circle, Weisenberg Township.
Police said upon finishing his work day around 5:30 p.m. May 23, he discovered the converter, valued at $900, was removed from his 2002 Honda Odyssey.
• A 19-year-old Laurys Station man is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance after police conducted a traffic stop at 1:37 p.m. May 9 at the intersection of Lower Macungie Road and Church Lane in Lower Macungie Township. Police said he was stopped in a 2015 Dodge Dart and found to be in possession of marijuana.
• Police said a blue “Apple” backpack containing personal items was turned over to them after it was found around 8 p.m. May 31 on Hausman Circle in Lowhill Township.
They said the owner can pick it up by providing proof of ownership at the barracks.
