Numerous fire companies from Carbon County were dispatched to a high occupancy dwelling fire Thursday morning in Palmerton. The fire was reported around 9 a.m. on the third floor of the Palmer House along Delaware Avenue. Upon arrival firefighters concentrated on an air conditioning unit before ventilating the floor. No injuries were reported in the incident.
