Police release description of McAdoo bank robber

State police at the Frackville barracks said the man who robbed the First National Bank of McAdoo at 10:45 a.m. May 30 made off with $2,100.

Police are seeking information on the incident and ask anyone who may have it is asked to contact them at 570-874-5300.

The robbery took place when an unknown actor entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money, making her aware that it was a robbery.

The man is described as being a white man with a black beard, slender build, between 30-34 years of age, wearing a pink flannel/plaid jacket, sunglasses and a gray of white baseball hat.

He ran from the scene, traveling east on East Fourth Street and south on North Cleveland Street.
