The Bach & Handel Chorale will wrap up its 39th season with a spring concert at 3 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 526 North St. Jim Thorpe.

The chorale will be joined by an orchestra for this concert. The music is by the concert namesakes, Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel. Selections by Bach include excerpts from his Concerto in F minor, the closing chorale of Cantata BVW 23, the Magnificat in D Major, his Cantata 80, and the Easter Oratorio BWV 249. Music by Handel includes selections from Messiah and Judas Maccabaeus.

The chorale will kick of its 40th year in December and is already choosing the music.
