Lehighton Borough Council took the following action on Monday:

• Approved payment application No. 4 for Livengood Excavators Inc. in the amount of $19,902 for the Waterfront Pedestrian Project.

• Granted conditional approval to the 255 Bankway St. land development project.

• Adopted a resolution license agreement with the Flock Group.

• Tabled agreement for evacuation and sheltering facilities with Lehighton Area School District.

• Approved a request from Tim Snyder, TNT Auto Repair LLC, for road closure on Iron Street from Seventh Street to King Alley on June 14.

• Approved a request from the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation to hold a cornhole tournament at Baer Memorial on July 25.

• Approved a request to close borough hall July 5, Dec. 24 (half-day), Dec. 26, and Dec. 31 (half-day).

• Approved additional Baer Memorial Pool employees for the 2024 season.

• Adopted a resolution for police destruction list.
