The Valley Royale Tennis Club in Lehighton will be hosting a pair of tournaments in May.

On Saturday, May 18, a Juniors Tournament sponsored by Diadem Sports will take place at the club beginning at 8 a.m.

The tourney will feature competition for boys and girls in singles and doubles play. Their are currently 16 registered players fom Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.

Registration will close on Thursday, May 16 at 11:30 p.m. Daidem Sports will provide prizes that range up to $500 in value .

Valley Royale will hold its season-opening tournament for adults the following day. The Sunday, May 19 competition will be held for men and women in singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. Registration is free for Valley Royale members

Diadem will have demo racquets available for players to try out after the tournament.

The public is welcome to watch the adult tournament. Bright Path Brewing of Jim Thorpe will be on hand to supply refreshments.
