Nesquehoning borough will be conducting street sweeping Monday through Friday.

Streets will be posted. Residents are asked to move their vehicle from that street until the street sweeping is completed.

Councilman Bruce Nalesnik, chairman of the streets committee, said residents can sweep any dust or small dirt from their sidewalks onto the streets ahead of the sweeping. He asks that residents do not throw any debris onto the streets.

The tentative schedule is as follows. It is subject to change.

Monday: All Catawissa Street and the hills

Tuesday: Southside of Center and southside of Railroad

Wednesday: Northside Center and northside of Railroad

Thursday: Ridge Street and High Street

Friday: New Columbus
