State police at the Bethlehem were called to the Lehigh Carbon Community College, Education Park Drive, North Whitehall Township, for a false alarm at 8:10 a.m. April 5.

Police said the false activation was the seventh one they were called to in a 12-month period, which would result in an automatic non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct/false alarms. But police said charges will not be filed against the college because the alarm company is new and the notification process will be amended.
