Philosophy of care: Dr. Meade wants to use his skills and experience to help patients achieve their goals. “My mindset is to listen to you and understand why you are here for an appointment. I want to know not just what may be wrong, but about you, and about your long- and short-term goals,” Dr. Meade says.

Conditions treated: Dr. Meade treats knee disorders, injury and pain. He also treats anterior cruciate ligament injury, arthritis, joint pain and osteoarthritis.

Services offered: Dr. Meade offers robotic-assisted knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, arthroplasty, injection and surgery and joint aspiration, drainage, and injection. He also performs bursa, cortisone, hyaluronic acid, soft tissue and steroid injections, orthopedic surgery, biopsy, orthopedics and second opinion for surgery.

Why you entered medicine: Having grown up in the coal regions of Pennsylvania, Dr. Meade witnessed the respect and admiration his parents had for his town physicians. Dr. Meade’s father served as a Pennsylvania State Police trooper and his mother worked in a high school cafeteria.

“I wanted to study hard and become a physician to help people - people like my parents - and earn that respect in a vocation that would never feel like a job, but a calling. I knew as a doctor that I could serve folks for as long as I am capable,” Dr. Meade says.

About Dr. Meade: Dr. Meade spent his entire profession in community service. He served as a team physician for many regional high schools, colleges and professional teams, including the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and the Philadelphia Eagles through their training camp.

He also heals the community outside of his practice office by organizing opioid crisis town halls and fundraisers, through speaking engagements and through television shows.

He enjoys riding on the D&L Trail, open water and pool swimming, and recreational boating.
