A woman was injured Friday afternoon in a crash in Franklin Township in the 300 block of Fairyland Road. The driver said he was heading east around noon when a dog in the vehicle jumped on his arm, causing him to swerve to the right and enter the berm. A woman in the vehicle was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being taken to St. Luke’s Hospital Carbon Campus.
