A charge of drug delivery resulting in death was dropped against a former Tuscarora man.

Matthew T. Martin, 37, had been charged with providing drugs that led to the death of a Coaldale woman in December 2021.

The charge was dismissed earlier this week in Tamaqua Magisterial District Court.

Martin had been in Schuylkill County Prison since he was charged earlier this year, but was released on $25,000 percentage bail this week.

Charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver; possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia were held for court.
